STATEMENTS OF BELIEF
Statement of Faith/Beliefs
We accept those areas on which, historically, there has been general agreement among all true Christians. The below are statements the statements of faith/belief of KWM that we believe are essential to unity and alignment among key partners, leaders, and any strategic alliances God may lead us into for advancing God’s Kingdom in the marketplace, churches and other key culture changing influencers in communities nationally & internationally.
The Bible
We believe the 66 books of the Bible, in their entirety, to be the only verbally inspired, infallible and authoritative written Word of God, inerrant in its original autographs.
The Godhead
There is one true God, eternally existing in three distinct persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of Deity and the characteristics of personality.
God the Father
We believe that the Father is God, having precisely the same nature as God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Father is distinguished by His authoritative role within the Trinity. He gave authority to Jesus Christ to create the universe and to judge the world, and has placed everything under His authority so that the Son would have the glory and supremacy.
God the Son, Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His human conception by the Holy Spirit, in His virgin birth, being both fully God and fully man, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His High Priestly role as intercessor for all believers, and in His personal return in power and glory.
God the Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, illuminating and equipping the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We also believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
The Depravity of Humanity
We believe that Adam’s sin gave all people a corrupted nature and left them without hope of reconciliation to God apart from a new birth, made possible only by the Savior’s death, burial and bodily resurrection.
Salvation
The salvation of man is wholly a work of God’s free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or religious ceremony (such as baptism, communion, speaking in tongues, etc.). God imputes His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation, and thereby justifies them in His sight. We welcome all who hold to this view of salvation, regardless of their belief in the eternal security of the believer.
The Church
Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His Body, which is composed of all people who have been joined to Him through saving faith.
We honor the distinctiveness of our local churches for the purpose of assembling together regularly for corporate worship, for participation in the ordinances, for edification through the Scriptures and for mutual encouragement.
We also recognize the spiritual unity of all who are saved through Jesus Christ, and we affirm the united efforts of local churches to accomplish those things that have value to the Kingdom of God.
The Resurrection of the Saved and the Lost
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of everlasting life and those who are lost unto the resurrection of everlasting damnation.
The Return of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to the earth – personally, visibly and bodily – to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.
It is our mission to see every business explode with the power of Jesus which empowers, equips and transforms people to reach this generation for Christ.
